Q: Does someone need to be home the day of a scheduled service?
A: No. There is no need for anyone to be home during a scheduled service. Some clients do prefer to be home while others prefer not to be. This is up to the client's preference.
Q: How much time will it take to clean my home?
A: That will depend on the square footage of your home, the number of bathrooms & bedrooms, if there are pets in the home, the condition of the home, and what type of cleaning the client wants done.
Q: Can I have an idea/estimate of how long it will take to clean my home before I commit to scheduling a service?
A: Yes. After contacting us, we will give you an hourly rate over the phone. If that is within your budget, we will visit your property and conduct a walk-through with you to evaluate the size and condition of the home. Once you let us know which rooms you want cleaned and what type of cleaning you'd like done, we'll give you an estimate of how long it will take to clean your home.
Q: Is there anything that needs to be done prior to the scheduled service?
A: It would be helpful to have any clothes, toys, etc. picked-up off the floor and off any furniture that needs to be cleaned (unless you would like this included as part of your service.)
Q: Does Vive La Différence Services provide their own equipment and supplies?
A: Yes. We provide conventional cleaning supplies and high-quality equipment such as vacuum cleaner(s), mop(s), etc.
Q: What supplies does Vive La Différence Services NOT provide?
A: We do not provide toilet brushes or trash bags of any kind.
Q: Do you charge more for deep cleans?
A: No, we do not. But please be aware that deep cleans take more time than basic maintenance cleans.
Q: Do you charge more for properties with pets?
A: Yes. Due to pet hair, our rate would be slightly higher for homes with pets.
Q: Do you charge sales tax?
A: Yes, it is NY State Law.
Q: What types of payment do you accept?
A: We accept Cash, Check, Paypal, Venmo, AppleCash, or CashApp.
Q: When is payment expected?
A: Payment is due upon receipt of your invoice.
Q: Is tipping expected?
A: Tips are not expected, but would be greatly appreciated.
Q: Does Vive La Différence Services schedule cleanings on Sundays?
A: Usually we do not service on Sundays, but contact us to discuss.
Q: Do you service properties that allow smoking?
A: Due to allergies, we do not service properties that allow smoking.
Q: What are your days/hours of operation?
A: Monday-Saturday 6AM-5PM
